Monday, October 11, 2004 Still feeling the effects from having insufficient sleep for the past weekend. But the weekend was enjoyable. I had fun. Of course I had fun.
Now I could surely declare that Guangwen is superbly good in imitating other people. I mean, he can act all the way for you to see. Choked myself today at Bugis Macdonalds while having lunch with the usual interns. He was at it again, making fun of that someone from my course. Then brought up the issues of our past lecturers. He made a excellent effort to imitate some of our polytechnic lecturers! My stomach ached after laughing too much, creating a scene inside the Macdonalds restaurant. Today was one of the rare times that my stomach actually hurt too much from all that crazy, hysterical laughing. Well, people who know me actually realised long time ago that I was some crazy hyena with loose screws. And seriously, WenChao is damn good in crapping and lame... all the way. After being dismissed from work, me and Guangwen took a short window-shopping spree around Bugis Village. Well, he do know the art of "slashing prices". Kudos! Tomorrow's my company, Digimagic, anniversary. So the staff and us would be dismissed from work around 4pm. Its sort of like a one-quarter day off. Weird? Yea it sure is. But hey, I get to go home and take some rest. Seems like there are work for me to do this week, last week totally slacked my way through. Not a good sign though. Was talking to my friend who went to KTV with me and I told him how superficial some people are. Looks, status and cash are everything to them. The outer appearance seems more significant than the inner. People want what they see before them. They just want to be more reconigsed. Fortuanately, he and his girl-friend are happy together. Both of them only want something simple from the other half. A rare sight. Simple expectations goes a long way. A little quote from Confucious: A gentleman is conscious of other peoples' knowledge but a selfish man is only conscious of his own knowledge. | |
