Friday, October 15, 2004 This is one of the rare (and I do mean rare!) times that I got up early, caught the bus just in time and reached the office just at 9am sharp. Only one colleague of mine reached before me. Morning was great. Had some thinking done in my head and I realised I should not be easily broke down next time. I would try to be strong. I would.
One of my colleague assigned me the task of putting different layers of photoshop files into Macromedia Director. Ok, not that bad. But here comes the hard part, since the company's senior programmer went to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, there is actually another branch at there, I had no one to ask about my programming woes. Yes, I was required to do some programming for the animation. Searched the internet for a while but did not really got what I want. Was stressed up. Then the colleague who assigned me work told me that he did not care whether I knew programming anot, just finish it by today. Whoa, that hit me hard. But at the end of the day, I showed him what I had done and the standard given to him was quite ok. After work, met with my friend again at Amiran's with the free soup of the day. We did order some fish plate with rice though. The soup was nice but different. I realised that the ingredients contained mushrooms instead of chicken. Took a walk around Sim Lim Square to get some things but the shops closed early. My friend wanted to go home early as there were some issues cropped up at home so I walked around Bugis by myself. Ah... nice scene. The late night sky is still peaceful and mysterious with lots of hidden stars. Heh. Walked to Parco Bugis Junction, played some HOTD III, and yay, finally completed the game. Tiring. Then walked back to Bencoolen Street and hopped on bus service 147. Took the upper deck and because I was quite tired, I felt asleep for a while. Then suddenly, someone was tapping my shoulder. I woke up in an instant. Oh, its the bus captain. Then he asked me, "Eh, this young boy or young girl, can you let me inspect your EZ-Link card?" Wha...What?? Young girl? He sort of apologised after realising I am a male. But he asked the question very loud and about the whole deck of people heard him. I just gave him a confused yet "don't-know-what-to-express"expression and yet abit "what the !)@(&)&$)(!&@!" face to him while was checking my card. My eyes widened and lots of people were staring at me. I was quite embarrassed. Argh. What a bad day! This event kind of top it off. But, was extremely beat and tired so did not really care about the amount of eyes there were. Have a good weekend people! Tomorrow is another swim again! Hope it does not rain like last week! | |
