Thursday, December 30, 2004 Project's really taking up whole lot of time for these past weeks and also for the next few months. Alright, none too bad. At least I will be busy with something. Theres a target to be reached and delieverables to be submitted. I'll live... I guess... not before killing excessively number of braincells, going haywire and jumping up and down like a madman... not at public of course, I don't want to be sent to Mental Institute of Health straight away.
Watched Kung Fu Hustle yesterday with a friend of mine but not before having a filling dinner. Had Shepard's Pie at Delifrance and had Beef Brisket meal later on at Jurong Point. Kung Fu Hustle's quite a show for me. Storyline is quite shallow as it doesn't develop along with time. Exaggarating factor 10/10. Such movies have to be exaggarated, same for the previous movie by Stephen Chow, Shaolin Soccer. Enemies flying 12978412 metres after being hit, the effect is what they wanted. Jokes, of course, still had that 'good old days' type of humour, stupid but works for some people. Maybe me. Special effects applied had a little bit flaws here and there but none too obvious. The team had spent a lot of time doing up the effects. Overall, I gave this movie 92/100. My 2 cents on this movie. Supposingly, I was to meet some of group mates today at around 10am but I came late, horrendously late. Didn't catch a good sleep the day before, well I know alot of people don't, especially the stress from projects, thus, waking up late. Heavy rain poured in later and went to my friend's house. Yeah! I got to visit the hamsters and the guinea pigs that his family kept. They were scared when they saw any visitor or even my friend. Shy animals. But really adorable and cute. Worked up the project quite a bit while my friend 'act' as a DJ switching songs and playing jingles from 98.7 fm. This is where the fun part starts. I began dancing with the music with my friend too. Totally released all that stress and just danced away. In fact, it was lousy dancing and I simply hopped and hopped. Great workout. Losing fats, thats the way to go! And my other friends just sat there and stared at us blankly, its like they never saw the 'haywired' side of me. Its like a restrained person who just wants to have fun and love, and he just got released. Thats me. On the other hand, his family was going to be back home soon and we left later on. But we saw his family at downstairs while waiting for the lift and us, getting out of the lift. Almost busted. If we were to stay inside his house just a little while more destressing, the results would reckon to be disatrous. Anyway, on the other hand, I was pretty disgusted with some people. Really. First of all, they think they are the supreme and dominant type of people who thinks anybody they see is of lower class. And thus, condemned those people. Stuck up people for short. Second of all, some people just simply love to talk loud and act 'elite' like some whore. Ahem, excuse me lady, I think you are quite a bitch. And loud bitch in fact. I bet you must be bitching away your life. Third and last of all, those who just takes things seriously. They wanted bad blood and they had to see some blood before they had their thirst quetched. I mean its like, we are not stealing your ricebowl or something. Gosh. I never hated them or what, seriously. Theres bound to be such people in this world. And what I experienced was just a little of what the future holds for me. I felt better typing that lot out. Ranted abit. On other news, the death toll for the tsunami disaster increased everyday. Now its like more than 80,000 people died and reports expected that it will hit 100,000. Act of God. Alright, I shall end here. 2005's coming. Happy New Year's Eve, Eve everyone. | |
