Wednesday, January 19, 2005 For the past 2 days, I had been watching 2 movies consecutively. Well, the best part is, I don't have to pay for them! Heh. Really great.
The first movie I watched for this week was "Shall We Dance?" starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. Hmm... Richard Gere, I had not seen this actor since... 2 years? But his face is so familiar to me. The show, overall, was superb and the storyline fit in nicely. Its a romantic comedy by the way. And I think romantic comedies are great... its like placing some fun and humourous elements into a romantic storyline. This show gets 85/100 from me. I recommend this show even its not that famous and popular and not much spoke of. Black horses do shine sometimes. However, today I watched "Elektra" starring Jennifer Garnier and I think its a pretty bad movie, considering that this movie was adapted from "DareDevil" no? Storyline had alot of loopholes and everything just happened to fast and too rushed. The movie is about 95 minutes and action scenes take up very little of the time. But, the effects were great, I was impressed actually, and the emotional destress that the heroine, "Elektra" has, was done... well... emotionally and getting it to affect the audience. 57/100 for this show. Earlier today, I met up with my aunt to attend an appointment at CMPB. Its actually a referrment appointment and the letter they sent to me stated that I had to bring 1 parent with me, so I brought my aunt. Everything was quite fast and finished within an hour. And I just knew that there is'nt anything wrong with my heart. Phew! And went around shopping with my aunt after that. She bought me some thing which I told her I didn't want it after I knew of the price but she insisted on paying for me. Now, my conscience is sort of eating me up. My aunt's a really good person. Love her lots. | |
