Happy Lunar New Year everyone!

Hmm... every year I will buy new clothes for chinese new year and visit my grandmother's home. Its basically a rountine and a custom for my family already. Simply put, my grandmother's home is like a 'headquarters' for us to 'report' there. Haha. However, I spent this year's chinese new year a bit different than the previous years. I spent alot on cab fares this year. Oh man...

First day of chinese new year, or in chinese, is called "Chu Yi", I woke up extremely late and was supposed to visit my father's side relatives at my grandmother's home. My brother and I were late so we hailed a cab but to no avail. However, we got onto one and the taxi fare was 15 bucks straight at my face. Oh well, I still have my red packets money. Everyone was there and we took a photo shoot for rememberance. I long forgotten when was the time I took a family photo. Mahjong session for them afterwards. I just looked on. My younger cousins, about 6 to 7 of them, all jumped at me later on. They are really cute and adorable. I like them alot!

Rushed on later to my mother's side grandmother home. Taxi again. 18 bucks this time. I'm going to be broke but my father gave me some cash before so... I still have some spare change remaining.

Yummy at the sight of curry. There was a huge bowl of curry at my grandma's. I just devoured any curry at sight. Of course, they were still some remaining. It was a bit boring this year at grandma's. Not many relatives came to visit.

Second day was even more worse. Not even one relative came except the usual aunts. Luckily my aunt had Singapore Cable Vision installed. Kept me company after I napped.

My mom's friend dropped by at my house today and she brought her daughter along. She's 28 but she looked 22 to me. Talked to her for a short while before I went napping and I was amazed to see them still at my living room after 1 and 1/2 hours. And my mother was probing at her daugther some questions about marriage and she kept quiet.
