Monday, May 16, 2005 Woot! Got my pay from my temporary job! *Dances butt thrusts to the side* Not a huge amount of money but it could last for weeks. Its been awhile since I touched this site, is it not? The experience during the enormous swimming complex at Jurong was quite unforgettable. I like the rotating current pool where once you entered there, you get carried in circles around a big medium which brings me to that. Waves and huge sprinkler occurs at timely intervals at the medium pool. But darn, while having fun, I left my suntanning lotion on a particular bench, I was about to retrieve it (I saw it while going in circles) when out of a sudden, it disappeared. Went for Claire's birthday bash at her chalet. I ought to say, her father is a resourceful and knowledgable man, I can just sit there all day listening to his experiences and stories. We were about to leave the chalet when the rain poured on us, it became heavier and heavier by the minute and we missed the last shuttle bus back to the MRT station. So we got a cab straight to the MRT which holds unfortuanate news, the last MRT has left. Rain poured like there's no tomorrow and we are stuck at the extreme end of the East, Pasir Ris. And my friend's handphone just killed off by empty battery, perfect timing. In the end, we seeked shelter at a nearby bus stop waiting for a taxi to arrive and there are alot of people there too. A chinese saying; Like waiting a rabbit from a hole. Anyway, so me and my friend chatted alot and talked about 'The Da Vinci Code' just to kill time and we were so excited and engrossed in discussing it and some people over there were like staring at two mad men. More job hunting today! Walk-in interviews for 2 jobs today and would wait for their response earliest next week. | |
