Friday, December 29, 2006 5 more months til I ORD. Time seems to be crawling when suffering... Booked out late during Christmas Eve, thus missing out on all the church outings... Zzz.. And time however seems to fly when I booked out, have fun then book in again to start a new week. Christmas was a tad fun and burnt a hole in my pocket. Even the clubs here were packed til the brim. Week starts, back in camp. First up, leadership fieldcamp. Everything was alright, except for the heavy downpour. Exercise continued even though it was raining cats and dogs. And all of us were drenched to the skin. I got a fever next day. Felt terrible. Its like I walk abit then vommit, walk abit then vommit and continued til I struggled my way to the Medical Centre. Saw the MO, only 1 day of Attend C. Made my way back home, again, vommit before aligning the bus, vommit after departing the bus. Argh, this feeling is super agonizning. Back at home, I was lying on my bed most of the day. Can't even walk straight and all I can do is sleep. Fever was as high as 39.4 degrees. Was sent to this clinic which our family were familiar with. Took a jab. Felt a little bit better. Rested and took medicine. But, what made me little sad and angry, was that my superior doesn't seem to trust me up til now. We have been working for 5 months all together and he doesn't trust me. Thought that I 'chao keng' or what. Now I know that he doesn't trust his own men, even when he is nice to you during workdays but gives you the crappy attitude when I told him I'm on MC. Really crap. 2 headed snake. Urgh. I don't know if I can 'tahan' 5 months. In the past, yes, because the people in my wing know me well, but now... everything has changed. So hard to win this trust. God, I just want to 'tahan' with the strength You give me. Give me peace... | |
