Saturday, December 29, 2007 Alright, Christmas is over... Had quite an unexpected Christmas this year I shall say... Probably gonna remember for a long, long time... First up, a mini pre-Christmas celebration at Simon's humble adobe... Lots of friends, singing, and most importantly... food food food... Yeah, buffet-ed straight out on the corridor, tons of goodies and sinful cravings. Ah yes, My friend bought these from Turkey, they call them 'Turkey Delights' Made from powdered coconut with some toppings... Squishy in your mouth. Chewy stuff. Real chewy. And not forgetting the Christmas tree... Christmas season, not forgetting the caroling bits... These guys just popped up from nowhere and into N.Y.D.C, bringing blessings and joy into the cafe. Christmas day... what did you know? More food... Thanksgiving dinner. This time.. cooked straight from our boys themselves... Watched a little, helped a little in the kitchen... Lets see... there was cream mushroom shop... fries... ham.. luncheon meat... honey chicken.. peppered chicken.. garlic bread (the best dish on the table because of the sauce it oozed out!) and some sparkling juice to top it off... Nicely home made meal to end off the Christmas night. | |
