Saturday, May 31, 2008 As different renditions of "Amazing Grace" were played, I followed tightly behind the line leading towards the front. As I peered towards the square-sharped glass, his face came into view. 'He looked peaceful with his chiselled looks. He returned to the Father.' I tooked another glance at him, there he lay motionless inside the casket. I continued, slowly moving in baby steps. As I started to give comfort by lending my touch to his kins, I saw two familiar faces whom I didn't even remember when I last met up with them. I embraced the brothers, long enough to know I care and to deliver warmth to their griefs. Their mother was weeping and all I could do was to offer my hand. She was shaking, I didn't bear to look at the sight of her anymore longer, because I would have tears flowing down my cheeks as well. Months ago, I told one of the brothers, we should catch up sometime, but never did I expect to meet him in such a woeful event. Ironic as it seems that this is the first meeting since his university study break in Australia. We would have never foresee when a person whom is so dear to us will be gone... I only received news this morning and came down in great hurry after work. I'll say cherish anyone, even those whom holds little signifiance to you, because, who knows what the future brings. I have regrets in the past, in fact, we all have... but does it really help if you can go back to the past and retify the issues? 'The Rhythm of Life' reveals this truth to me because in the show, no matter how the protagonist make changes to please everyone in the past, different consequences arose, and some even dire as before. He realised this in the last episode, even though I didn't manage to watch it. Life is fragile, so capture every moment, never mind that it is subtle, a little goes a long way. So now, back to the topic when I was going to approach *, hey, cherish every moment huh? Balls of steel, show me who has those balls. Aqua - Turn Back Time | |
